Work Readiness and Life Skills training

One of the important concepts of the LIFE program will be to raise awareness of employers and PWDs that PWDs can provide the same-level economic benefit to the employers as their able-bodied co-workers, and that “they can perform as well as other employees and just need to be trusted to do the work”. The WRLST training will raise self-esteem of the PWD job seekers by addressing the following key topics:

• Training them in life and job search skills to match their qualifications;

• CV/resume writing skills and job interview techniques.

Groups of trainees will be composed of 5 to 8 PWDs, and will receive a total of eight interactive training sessions per group. The trainings will be delivered by partner DPOs for PWDs who have developed the competitive skills to enter the labor. In total 450 PWDs will be able to pass the WRLST training.
